Ignition coil
IGNITION COIL
Removal
Remove the body covers. Remove the spark plug
cap. Disconnect the ignition coil wires and remove
the ignition coil bolt and ignition coil.
INSPECTION
CONTINUITY TEST
Measure the resistance between the ignition coil
primary coil terminals.
Resistance : 0.55~0.75
This test is to inspect the continuity of ignition
coil.
Primary Coil
A.C Generator
Crankcase position sensor
Remove the body cover.
Disconnect the A.C. generator connector.
Measure the blue/yellow and green/white wire
terminals for resistance.
Resistance: 96144
