22. FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM MXU 500i
Apply oil onto a new O-ring.
T-MAP sensor
When install the T-MAP sensor onto the
throttle body, being careful not to damage
the O-ring.
Always replace an O-ring with a new one.
Install the set plate and tighten the screw
securely.

Apply oil onto a new O-ring. Screw T-MAP sensor
When install the ISC and T-MAP sensor
onto the throttle body, being careful not to
damage the O-ring.

INSPECTION
Remove front cover
Make sure moving the shift lever into the
N or P position .
Remove diagnostic tool connector protect Front cover
sheath.
Turn the ignition switch to "ON"
Measure the voltage between the following
terminals of the diagnostic tool connector .
Terminal Normal Diagnostic Connector
Protect sheath.
BR/L (+) G/B (-) Battery voltage
Battery voltage
B/L (+) W/L (-) 1 V Diagnostic Connector
