REMOVAL
The exhaust muffler must be removed
when it is cold to avoid burns.
Remove the two exhaust muffler joint lock
nuts.

Remove the rear fork pivot nut.
Press in the rear fork pivot to remove the
exhaust muffler.

INSPECTION
Inspect the exhaust muffler joint gasket for
damage, deformation or leakage.
Replace if necessary.
INSTALLATION
Install the exhaust muffler joint gasket and
then install the exhaust muffler.
First tighten the two exhaust muffler joint
lock nuts and then tighten the rear fork pivot
nut.
Torques:
Exhaust muffler joint lock nut: 0.81.2kg-m
Rear fork pivot nut: 5.56.5kg-m
