BATTERY CHARGING
Connect the charger positive cable to the
battery positive terminal.
Connect the charger negative cable to the
battery negative terminal.
CHARGING METHOD:
Standard Charging:
0.7A charging 10 hours
Quick Charging:
7A charging 23 hours
Charge the battery at 0.7A until the
specific gravity is 1.2601.280 (20).
Warning Specific Gravity VS Charging Time
· Before charging a battery, remove all
Specific Gravity
cell caps to prevent battery case damage.
· Keep flames and sparks away from a
charging battery to prevent igniting the
hydrogen gas produced by the battery.
· Turn power ON/OFF at the charger, not
at the battery terminals to prevent sparks
near the battery cells.
· Discontinue charging if the electrolyte Charging Time
temperature exceeds 45.
· Quick charging should only be done in
an emergency; slow-charging is
preferred.
· After the battery is installed, check
routing of the breather tube as shown
on the battery caution label.
