4. LUBRICATION SYSTEM Downtown 300i ABS
OIL PUMP REMOVAL
Remove twelve bolts attaching the right
crankcase cover.
Remove the A.C. generator flywheel with
special tool.
Special tool:
Flywheel Puller E003
Universal Holder E021
Remove the gasket and dowel pins.
Remove the starter idle gear and starter Starter Idle Gear
clutch.
Remove the two bolts and oil separator cover. Dowel Pin
Oil Separator Cover
Remove the oil pump driven gear clip to
remove the oil pump driven gear and drive Oil Pump Drive Chain
chain.
