CYLINDER HEAD DISASSEMBLY
Remove the two bolts and the right side cover.
Screw a 8mm bolt into the rocker arm shaft, and
pull it out of the cylinder head.
Remove the rock arms and camshaft from the
cylinder head.

While compressing the valve spring with a
Valve spring compressor, remove the valve          Right side cover   Bolts

Loosen the valve spring compressor and
remove the valve retainer, valve springs, spring
seats, stem seals and valves.


    To prevent loss of tension, do not
    compress the valve spring more than
    necessary to remove the valve spring
    cotters.
    Mark all parts to insure original assembly.

Remove carbon deposit from the combustion
chamber.
Clean any gasket material from the cylinder
head mating surface.
    Be careful not to damage the cylinder
    head mating surface and valve seat.

INSPECTION
CYLINDER HEAD
Check the spark plug hole and valve areas for
cracks.
Check the cylinder head for warpage with a
straight edge and feeler gauge.

Service Limit: 0.05mm repair or replace if
              over

VALVE SPRING FREE LENGTH
Measure the free length of the inner and outer
valve springs.

Service Limits:
      Inner spring : 33.5mm
      Outer spring : 40.9mm
