Ball
Inspect the ball races, cone races and steel
balls for wear or damage. Replace if
necessary.
Remove the top balls.
Remove the upper ball race by using a chisel
if necessary.
Top Ball Cone Race
Bottom Ball Race
Remove the bottom balls.
Remove the bottom ball race by using a pipe
if necessary.
Bottom Balls
Remove the bottom cone race by using a Bottom Cone Race
chisel if necessary.
Be careful not to damage the steering
stem.
