6. ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ATV 150/125
A.C.G. Wire Connector
ENGINE REMOVAL
Drain engine oil and transmission oil (refer
to chapter 3).
Remove seat, front cover, center cover,
front fender, rear fender and exhaust muffler
(refer to chapter 2).
Remove the carburetor (refer to chapter 5).
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the frame body cover.
Disconnect the engine negative cable.
Disconnect the A.C.G. wire connector and
neutral lamp switch. Neutral Lamp Switch
Starter Relay Starter Motor Cable
Disconnect the starter motor cable from the
starter relay.
Crankcase Breather hose
Disconnect the crankcase breather hose
from the cylinder head cover.
Disconnect the transmission case breather
hose from the transmission case.
Transmission Case Breather hose
Connecting Tube
Loosen the drive belt air cleaner connecting
tube band screw and remove the connecting
tube.
