AIR IDLE BYPASS VALVE
INSPECTION
Connecting the Fi diagnostic tool to enter the
data analysis.
Check the ISC motor if the function is normal.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
(ECU)

 REMOVAL

  1.   Remove the front cover
  2.   Remove the ECU protector
  3.   Remove the connector of ECU
  4.   Remove the ECU
   Do not disconnect or connect the ECU
        connector during the ignition switch
        "ON"; it may cause the ECU damage.
        The throttle position sensor (TPS) and
        idle air bypass valve (ISC) have to
        reset when the throttle body MAP,
        TPS, ISC or ECU has been
        reinstalled.

    Battery connected and Key On, without
    pulling off or connect on ECU (incl. cutting
    and connecting)
    1. Confirm Key Off status
    2. Replace with a new ECU
    3. Key On and perform Idle and full open        ECU
       the throttle Position (TPI) for twice
       learning.
    4. Warming at Idle for 15 minutes.
    Throttle valve body is deposited with dirt
    and unable to replace or clean: (Suggested
    to replace with new ECU at the time of
    cleaning throttle valve body)
   1. Confirm at Key Off status
   2. Replace ECU
   3. Key On and perform 2 to 3 times of TPI
       Idle and Fully Open learning (telling
       ECU the present setting of Throttle)
   4. Warming up for 15 minutes at Idle for        ECU's connector
       automatic learning of ABV (Telling ECU
       the compensating volume of bypass air
   5. APC learning, large and small circulation.
       (Telling ECU engine compensation)
