Remove the seat, met-in box and center
cover.
Drain the coolant.
Disconnect the water hose from the
thermostat housing.
Remove the mounting bolt and the
thermostat housing from the cylinder head.

THERMOSTAT INSPECTION
Suspend the thermostat in a pan of water Thermostat
