11. FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/
STEERING K-PIPE 125
INSTALLATION
Install the front shock absorbers onto the
steering stem.
Tighten the lower mount bolts.
Install the front fender.
Install the front wheel.

REMOVAL
Remove the steering handlebar.
Disconnect the speedometer cable and front
brake fluid pipe and remove the front brake
caliper.
Remove the front wheel.
Hold the steering stem top cone race and Lock Nut Socket Wrench
remove the steering stem lock nut.
Special
Lock nut socket wrench
Remove the top cone race and remove the
steering stem.
Remove the cage.
Remove the steel balls attaching the cage.
Lock Nut Wrench
Top Cone Race
Be careful not to lose the steel balls (23
on top race and 29 on bottom race).
Inspect the ball races, cone races and steel
balls for wear or damage.
Replace if necessary.
