Crankcase Cover
FINAL REDUCTION DISASSEMBLY
Drain engine oil and transmission gear oil
into a clean container.
Remove the engine.
Remove the right crankcase cover.

Remove the flywheel, starter clutch and
starter idle gear (refer to chapter 4).
(MX' er 150/125: Remove the two bolt from
the shift guide and the bolt from the drive
select lever, then remove the shift guide and
drive select lever.)
Drive Select Lever/Shift Guide Bolt
Nut/Washer/Oil Drive Gear/Balancer Gear/Washer
Remove the oil pump (refer to chapter 4).
Remove the nut (Left threaded) and washer
from the balancer gear using the special tool,
then remove oil drive gear, balancer gear,
woodruff key and washer.
Special tool:
Lock nut wrench: E010
Washer/Crankshaft Gear
Remove the washer and crankshaft gear.
