O2 SENSOR
REMOVAL
Disconnect the O2 sensor connector.
Remove the bolts attaching the muffler and
dismantle the muffler.
Apply anti-seize compound on
circumference of thread area before
installation.
Torque: 2.5 kgf-m (25 N-m, 18 lbf-ft)
Don't twist the wire when removing the O2 sensor
connector.
INSPECTION
Measure the resistance between each White
wire terminals of the O2 sensor side
connector.
Standard: 6.7 ~ 9.5
Measure the input voltage for the O2 sensor.
Disconnect the O2 sensor's connector.
The positive terminal connects the pin of
harness wire and the negative terminal
connects the earth. The figure should be
same with battery's voltage.
Measure the output voltage for the O2
sensor.
Disconnect the O2 sensor's connector.
The positive terminal connects the pin of O2
sensor and the negative terminal connects
the earth. The figure should be lower than
5V.
