17. BATTERY/CHARGING SYSTEM K-XCT 125i
BATTERY
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
The battery is in the battery box behind seat.
Remove the seat.
Remove the screw and then remove the
battery cover
Pull battery out to expose the terminal leads
Disconnect the negative (-) terminal lead
from the battery first, then disconnect the
positive (+) terminal lead.
Remove the battery from the battery box.
Battery installation:
Install in the reverse order of the removal.
When install the battery, first connect the
positive (+) cable and then negative (-)
cable to avoid short circuit.
