BRAKE LEVER FREE PLAY
ADJUSTMENT
The rear brake lever free play should be
adjusted to 10~20mm (0.4~0.8 in) at the tip
of the brake lever. If the free play is
incorrect, adjust as follows:
Place the scooter on its center stand.
Turn the adjusting nut in direction (A) to
decrease play, and in direction (B) to
increase play.
Turn the adjusting nut on the brake hub in
direction (A) to decrease play, and in
direction (B) to increase play.
Make sure the cut-out on the adjusting
nut (2) is seated on the brake arm pin
(1) after making final free play
adjustment.
