6. COOLING SYSTEM UXV 500
Fan Guide
RADIATOR
REMOVAL
Drain the coolant
Remove the front fender (refer to the
"FRAME COVERS" section in the
chapter 2).
Remove the four mounting bolt from fan
guide and then remove fan guide.
Water Filler Hose Fan Motor SW
Loosen the hose bands and disconnect the
radiator lower water hose, water filler hose,
bleed hose and upper water hose from the
radiator.
Disconnect the fan switch connectors.
Lower Water Hose Bleed Hose Upper Water
Remove the two mounting bolts under radiator
and two mounting bolts on the radiator, then
remove radiator.
Be careful not to damage the radiator
core.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of
removal.
Fill the system with recommended coolant
and bleed the air
