Remove the front drive case assembly (refer
to the "FRONT DRIVE
REMOVAL/INSPECTION/
INSTALLATION" section in this chapter).
Remove the 3 bolts and then remove the
2WD/4WD shifting motor assembly.
Shifting Motor Assembly
Remove the differential lock lever wire.
From front gear case.
Remove the 3 bolts from housing pinion
Disconnect the housing pinion
