10. CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFT/KICK
STARTER/TRANSMISSION K-PIPE 125
Turn the outer races of the crankshaft
bearings with your fingers. The bearings
should turn smoothly and quietly.
Also check that the inner races of the
bearings fit tightly on the crankshaft.
Check the timing sprocket for wear or
damage.

KICK STARTER DISASSEMBLY
Remove the thrust washer and pry out the
circlip.
Starter Ratchet
Starter Pinion Circlip and Trust Washer
Remove the circlip and thrnst washer.
Remove the kick starter pinion.
Kick Starter Spindle Circlips
KICK STARTER ASSEMBLY
Assemble the kick starter spindle in the
reverse order of disassembly.
INSTALLATION
Install the crankshaft and kick starter to the
left crankcase.
Align the punch mark of the kick starter
spindle with the punch mark on the
Pinion Gear Starter Driven Ratchet Spring
starter driven ratchet.
