REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
REMOVAL
Remove the two screws attaching the left
shock absorber outer cover and remove the
outer cover.
Remove the left shock absorber upper mount
nut and washer and then press down the
motorcycle to pull out the shock absorber.
Remove the left shock absorber lower mount
bolt to remove the left rear shock absorber
Remove the right rear shock absorber in the
same steps. Lower Mount Bolt
Rear Shock Absorber Attachment
Put the shock absorber in the rear shock
absorber compressor and compress the
spring.
Rear Shock Absorber Compressor
Loosen the lock nut and remove the upper
joint.
Remove the spring and take out the damper
to disassemble the shock absorber.
Lock Nut
Measure the spring free length.
Service Limit: 227mm
