BRAKE SHOE
Inspect the front brake linings for wear.
BRAKE LEVER/PEDAL
Measure the rear brake pedal free play.
Free Play: 2030mm
Lock Nut Adjusting Bolt
CLUTCH
Stop the engine.
Loosen the lock nut.
Slowly turn the adjusting bolt
counterclockwise and stop when resistance is
felt,
From this point, turn the adjusting bolt
clockwise 1/8 turn and tighten the lock nut,
Check that the clutch is not slipping and is
properly disengaging.
Lower Limit
BRAKE FLUID
Turn the steering handlebar upright and
check if the brake fluid level is between the
upper and lower limits.
Specified Brake Fluid: DOT-4
