HORN
Remove the decorative covers under the
fuel tank.
The horn is normal if it sounds when a 12V
battery is connected across the horn wire
terminals. Replace the horn if it does not
sound.

FUEL GAUGE
Disconnect the fuel gauge and fuel unit
wire couplers.
Connect the fuel gauge green wire with the
yellow/white wire. Turn the ignition switch
ON and the fuel gauge is normal if its
needle moves from E to F and then moves
from F to E when the ignition switch is
turned OFF.

HANDLEBAR SWITCHES
FRONT STOP SWITCH
Disconnect the front stop switch wire
coupler.
Check for continuity between the front stop
switch wires.
Brake lever applied: There is continuity.
Brake lever released: There is no continuity.
