Using the 48 mm Internal Hex Socket, secure the leg is facing upward. Apply a small amount of oil
pinion gear assembly with the existing lock collar. to the gasket; then install the gasket.
Tighten to 125 ft-lb.
NOTE: On a front differential, the lock collar has
right-hand threads. On a rear gear case, the lock
collar has left-hand threads.

7. Place the input shaft housing assembly onto the
gear housing; then secure with the existing cap
screws. Tighten to 23 ft-lb.
