17. CHARGING SYSTEM STRYKER 125/150
A.C. GENERATOR Yellow
REMOVAL
Remove the A.C. generator.
INSPECTION
Disconnect the A.C. generator white and
yellow wires and measure the resistance
between the white and yellow wires.
Resistance: 0.2
Do not ground the A.C. generator white
and yellow wires.
Pink
REGULATOR/RECTIFIER
REMOVAL
Remove the regulator/rectifier lock bolt and
disconnect the regulator/rectifier wire coupler.
Regulator/Rectifier
Measure the resistances between the Red Yellow
regulator/rectifier wire terminals. Replace the
regulator/rectifier if the readings are not
within the specifications in the table below.
· Due to the semiconductor in circuit, it
is necessary to use a specified tester
for accurate testing. Use of an improper
tester or measurements in an improper
range may give false readings.
· Use a Sanwa Electric Tester or Kowa
Electric Tester for testing.
