17. CHARGING SYSTEM STRYKER 125/150
BATTERY
REMOVAL
Remove the left side cover.
First disconnect the battery negative cable
and then the positive cable.
Remove the two battery set plate lock nuts.
BATTERY CHARGING
Connect the charger positive cable to the
battery positive cable.
Connect the charger negative cable to the
battery negative cable.
CHARGING METHOD:
Standard Charging: 0.7A charging 10 hours
Quick Charging: 3A charging 23 hours
Warning
Specific Gravity VS Charging Time
· Keep flames and sparks away from a
charging battery to prevent igniting the
hydrogen gas produced by the battery.
· Turn power ON/OFF at the charger, not
Specific Gravity
at the battery terminals to prevent
sparks near the battery.
· Discontinue charging if the electrolyte
temperature exceeds 45.
Do not quick charge the battery. Quick Charging Time
charging should only be done in an
emergency.
